Samantha started working with the mass market leading brand Kiss in 2006. Kiss’ goal was to overcome the negative image that many women still had about artificial nails. She coordinated a series of manicure services held at a top nail salon in NYC for beauty editors to be educated on the new technology, and experience the new nails firsthand. Crier Beauty also conducted an online beauty blogging campaign with webinars, promotions, giveaways and a free sampling to create buzz within a young female demographic.
Product placement was secured in leading household publications such as Family Circle, Woman’s World, First for Women, Ladies Home Journal, and is now constantly featured in top teen books Teen Vogue, Seventeen, Latina, etc. With a celebrity product outreach, Crier Beauty secured a contract with burlesque singer Dita Von Tesse to design her nails exclusively. Kiss was also a sponsor at the Kids Choice Awards, Toronto Film Festival and Oscar suites, which has garnered many celebrity endorsements for the brand.
