The Austrian Wine Marketing Board enlisted Crier to produce their first ever ticketed wine tastings, Austria Uncorked, a trade and a consumer event in two cities: San Francisco and New York. Tasked with branding Austrian wine in a fresh way, Crier came up with the Austria Uncorked name, logo, website and campaign slogan to go with it: Get your grĂ¼v on! We promoted the slogans with online banner ads, guerrilla building projections, social media and traditional media efforts.
The result? More than 270 consumers attended in San Francisco and more than 600 in New York City. Crier also secured top press, wine trade attendance and a blizzard of media coverage including The New York Times and The Wine Spectator, earning a whopping 147,913,943 media impressions.
